Please note: This form is an application of interest and does not guarantee your child a place in the setting. Notification of children successful in securing places will be contacted in January before the child is due to start preschool. If your child is unsuccessful and is still entitled to an ECCE preschool place the following school year, their name will be transferred to the following year’s application list.

Highly Qualified Teachers
Montessori Scoil an Spioraid Naoimh prides itself on being a place for learning and playing, staffed by highly qualified educators.
Teachers have a BA in Montessori Education, Post Graduate Diploma from Mary Immaculate College and are fully qualified in child protection and first aid.
Our Rooms
Our Montessori Classroom
Our Montessori classroom is located on the grounds of the boy’s national school. The Montessori has its own entrance which is located in the schoolyard.
The Montessori room is a spacious and beautiful space for the children to learn, explore and play. Our curriculum is focused on the Montessori method of teaching which aims to create a play-based, child-led environment.
Our Montessori Wild Garden
We have a wonderful gated wild garden located in the schoolyard.
The Montessori children have
daily access to this garden where they can play with a mud kitchen, children’s slide, climbing rocks, balancing beams, and plenty of overgrown wild greenery
Our Bike and Trike Area
The Montessori children have daily access to a large yard where our bikes, trikes, and scooters are located.
There are a variety of bikes available for children of all ages and abilities.
